Your Own Domain Name
You need either *your* name for your domain name, or else your business name. The free websites have a great purpose too but for complete and utter success it must be your own name. If you are a writer or musician and you want to go under an alias that is fine too, but for the typical internet marketer or blogger that wants to make a full time income on the internet, YOUR name is best. And a DotCom works best but if that is not available then there are great alternatives. I have made it with DotOrg but that is not for beginners.

If you have a very common name like I do then use “work with your name” dot com or “who is your name” dot com. Or even “your name online” dot com like I did. My name was borrowed by Hank Williams Jr.’s session keyboard player…lol. And myself being a retired musician I can say without a doubt that he is great and he can borrow my name whenever he wants. Go John Jarvis. The other one I mean.
